If you have dry hands or a light manicure, it’s perfectly fine to wear gloves. We do not recommend using Viral for Brunettes in a natural stone shower or on any porous surface.
"I'm not a brunette, I'm a bottle-blonde who is chronically late to everything and doesn't have the time to let product sit and dye to penetrate, leaving me with faded pink ends and less-processed outgrowth. Not anymore. This stuff has enough pigment to work within the time frame of a typical lather and rinse. The soap scum in your shower's going to turn pink, but that makes it easier to see and get rid of. I'd not use this without gloves; I used them and my nails turned slightly pink anyway"
