On color-treated brown hair, the Viral Purple and Viral Red will give you a soft jewel tone. For a stronger and more noticeable red or purple on color-treated brown hair, we recommend Viral for Brunettes.

To see a deposit of color, all of our products are best used on hair that has been bleached or color treated.

If you have dry hands or a light manicure, it is perfectly fine to wear gloves. We do not recommend using Viral for Brunettes in a natural stone shower or on a porous surface.

Viral for Brunettes will not cover gray hair.

"I'm not a brunette, I'm a bottle-blonde who is chronically late to everything and doesn't have the time to let product sit and dye to penetrate, leaving me with faded pink ends and less-processed outgrowth. Not anymore. This stuff has enough pigment to work within the time frame of a typical lather and rinse. The soap scum in your shower's going to turn pink, but that makes it easier to see and get rid of. 10/10, this is my new jam."
