To use Pastel Coral on darker hair, the best results occur when you have balayage or bleached highlights.

Good coloring

"Excellent coloring and true to shade. However, I feel it could be improved by leaving hair softer. I have medium curly hair and the days that I use the wash/conditioner combination only, my hair feels dry and harsh. Once you achieve the color, then have to have days with regular moisturizing shampoo and conditioner/mask."

"Used the coral on my bleached ends and love the outcome. I wanna try to get a more orange color to put over this once it fades. I think it would give a third dimension to the colors. The smell was really too strong for me UNTIL I put heat on my hair and it really toned the smell down. That's the only thing I would complain about. The smell of awfully too much."

"This colorditioner is great for dry, colored hair...I have fine hair so I found it kind of made my hair look flat and even thinner, but felt great. So if you have thicker hair, that is color treated, I can see the hydration being a great fit, but not so much for us thin haired ladies."

"As far as the conditioning abilities of this conditioner, I would say they are superb! My hair is so soft and supple! It hasn't felt this nice in a long time. It smells great! The smell is long lasting but not overwhelming. The coloring ability is really cool. I have darker hair with grey and white streaks. Both the grey and white took the color and it created a multi tonal look. I can't wait to try some of the other colors!"
